In the beginning of March, pop-up food tents will start to appear on the street corners that sell churros. You can get these churros in a multitude of ways including with chocolate, filled with cream, and glazed.
Another deep fried snack offered during Fallas is Buñelos de calabaza. They are a pumpkin flavored donut type pastry and the most recommended place to try them are Horchatería Fabían and Horchatería Santa Catalina.
Speaking of horchata, it is one of the most refreshing non-alcoholic drinks offered during Fallas.
Last but certainly not least is Paella! It’s a huge rice dish with vegetables and prawns or chicken.
